Fall River area is fishing pretty well but getting hot around mid-day… a quick swim in this water will cure any heat issues right away. The breezy afternoons have been really nice and the river - both upper and lower river - and around the confluence hasn’t been very crowded at all. Expect to find calibaetis action in the late morning along with midges all day long....

Lower Sac Striper fishing has been good up until the last few days as we are in the middle of a full moon. Fishing during the full moon tapers off a bit but still plenty of fish around just seem to be a bit tougher bite for a few days usually. Most fish are coming on type 5 lines with unweighted flies fished a bit slower. Fish will eat flies on the fast sink lines...
