Fish-mas is coming! With all the high water the tributaries are going to be high but at least fish-able. I would be ready to cover some distance and get to pool and runs that are a little slower. Ready for nymphs and streamers as well.
Mokelumne- 3,048 CFS- Too big to fish, best to stay away.
Stanislaus- 3,048 CFS - Too high to float.

can. As always check before you go, fish the edges with caution. Here
are some shots of the Kings River above Pine Flat ushering in a great

October Caddis are on!!! The Stanislaus & Merced. Size 10 nymph or 10 dry.
Mokelumne- The Moke pulses for the Salmon are on.
Upper Moke- It’s all fishing well, dries & dry droppers. Stimulators & Caddis are best. Cooler in the morning so nymphing will be your best bet early.
Stanislaus- South Fork is doing well. Yellow Sallies, and Hare’s ears dries are picking up...
