The Klamath River remains a very good option as well.. you can expect to see most of the smaller half pounders move out and some of the larger fish show up in December. We have a few guide days still available between now and New Years.

The recent rains are a welcomed change of pace and it’s starting to smell a lot like Steelhead in Northern CA. We had a solid dose of rainfall in Shasta, Trinity and Siskiyou counties today. The rivers will rise a bit and get some much-needed color added to them.

Just got notification from the Forest Service that the road from the dam to Ash Camp will be closed December 1 due to unsafe conditions. No idea when it will be repaired, hopefully before April 27, 2019.
The Klamath just keeps rocking with a stellar run of half-pounders and adult steelhead. Whether fishing flies under the bobber or swinging through a favorite run we have been finding fish.
This Fall has produced one of the best half pounder runs seen in years and now the adults are showing. With above average precip forecast for the north state the next 2 weeks...
