The recent rains are a welcomed change of pace and it’s starting to smell a lot like Steelhead in Northern CA. We had a solid dose of rainfall in Shasta, Trinity and Siskiyou counties today. The rivers will rise a bit and get some much-needed color added to them.

The Fishing on the Trinity River has been good over the past few days and should continue to stay solid through the coming weeks. With rain in the extended forecast, we’re expecting the anadromous fish to keep moving and we should be seeing good pulses of fish moving through. We have been waiting to give you all a good report from over the hill and the time has finally come
