Warm days and mild nights have been the norm, and the fishing has been pretty good on the Lower Yuba, especially the dry fly fishing. The flows were bumped up to 1,470 cubes last week to attract more salmon to migrate upstream, and with the full moon pase it has had a dramatic impact.

The Lower Sac has had a banner Fall so far. There have been a lot of salmon in the system that have been providing a steady flow of food to these veracious rainbows. 

These fish have been getting FAT on eggs and bugs that these salmon are kicking into the drift.

Striper fishing in the Delta has been going strong for a few weeks now!  The weather has been excellent & we are finding lots of fish throughout the Delta, most of them are smaller but 5lb fish are mixed in here & there. 

Hard to find larger fish over 5lbs but they should arrive soon! Water temperatures are 66-68 degrees in much of the Delta with cooler nights...
