California Delta Fly Fishing Report

DeltaNov 1, 20181 min read

Capt. Bryce Tedford reports on 11.1.2018

Striper fishing in the Delta has been going good! The weather has been excellent & we are finding lots of fish throughout the Delta! Most fish are smaller “schoolies” but 3-5lb fish are mixed in & the occasional larger fish can be found as well!

Water temperatures are 65-67 degrees in much of the Delta with cooler nights dropping temperatures. For Stripers sub surface I am using 1/0-3/0 “Steve Adachi” Clouser style rattle flies in various combinations.

Prime Striper fishing generally goes through November & into Dec., get out there before the 2018 season is over!
