As always, all proceeds from the event go to benefit Cast Hope. Supposedly there is going to be a press release coming out explaining the lake is closed until sometime in April. The road washouts are not going to be easy to fix. Hopefully, they can get up to speed quickly as Pyramid lake is an important part of the local economy up there.  We will keep you posted.

The storm door has opened. We have over a foot here in the Hirsch, which is good for us. We get shadowed a lot and have more cold than snow usually. Up on top of the hill they have been getting pounded! We could get all of our seasons snow in just this one week- if it works...

Looking and feeling a lot like winter on the ole Truckee River and Pyramid Lake in Nevada.

We had some pretty good snowfall and temps are for continued cold in our area.

The Truckee River is still about the same as last post. Flows are about 225 cubes here in the Hirsch and bit higher down into Nevada. Winter fishing folks. Trouts have moved into slower deeper water....
