Each Farlex fly reel is available in both 3 ¾″ and 4″ sizes and supports configurations including direct drive or multiplier, plate wind or S-handle options, single or dual grip, and 1-way or 2-way check systems per angler preference. Their drum capacity is generous — for example, the 3 ¾″ model can hold 150 yards of 30-lb backing plus 100′ of running line, making it ideal for extended casts and heavy fly lines.
