Pyramid Lake was on fire this weekend with the storms. Cloud cover wind and chop makes for an all day bite out at the lake. Now that high pressure is building back in this week it will be an early or late bite again. Shooting heads with the black bugger/ popcorn beetle has been the ticket. The bobber gang have been catching fish too. Fish will cruise in at some point in the day. I know of two fly anglers that got 20 pounders in the last couple days. Patience is good to have out at the lake.
Remember, my good deal rates are in effect until the end of this month and no more good deals until this next winter. Also, clinic dates will be up soon.

I just got home from fishing Pyramid this evening, it was very good for numbers of fish, however we didn’t get any big fish tonight. Popcorn beetles dominated yet again. Earlier this week during the storm, two 20 pounders were caught along with some other nice fish. On saturday during the storm the grab was good throughout the day. With the storms leaving the area, this week should go back to the late evening grab. It is a great time of the year to get a trophy fish! Last week I released a 21 ½ pounder caught on a popcorn beetle in the evening.
