The Trinity has been classified to be “Dry Water Year” and the annual release schedule has been set and starts tomorrow. The flows out of Lewiston ramp up tomorrow to 500 CFS and peak May 5th & 6th at 8500 CFS and ramp down to 450 CFS through the early Fall. 8500 CFS will be nice to clear the river out and move things around, I’m just a little worried about...

Trinity river fly only water opened today! Had fun watching the crowds
and throwing the streamer around. Landed a handful of adults and watched some getting caught on Nymphs. Beautiful day to take our dog out. I have openings in early April if anyone wants a tune up before trout season opens or if you need to sneak one more steelhead day in.
