Fishing has been slow but there are a few fish around. Netting in the lower river and the mouth of the klamath being closed have contributed to the slow fishing. The Flows on the Klamath recently jumped and should help get some fresh fish in the system. 

Flows started dropping on the Trinity. Currently at 450 CFS. A great time to look for Salmon and Steelhead on the fly.

Fly only section below Lewiston dam is now open. Not a ton of fish around and they are not keying on dries as hoped. Try swinging smolt patterns and nymphs. Nymphing has been productive but so have swing techniques.

Trinity has been so up and down and day-to-day… So hard to write a report for people to plan a trip. But the fishing, weather, and flows the last 7 days has been stable!!! There are fish in the river! The Sac has been pretty damn good, also.
