Trinity River Fly Fishing Report

Trinity RiverFeb 25, 20161 min read

We have not been getting good reports from the Trinity River. There are fish around but they are very spread out. Floating remains the best option for finding fish. The river is off color so throw bigger flies like rubberlegs and stones. This is the time of the year fish like aelvins and will certainly still eat the egg. As the temps warm swinging nymphs and soft hackles can be extremely effective.
