Fishing is shaping up in the Delta.  Good for numbers but hard to find a quality fish.  This can change any day because more fish are entering the system on every incoming tide.  Some big fish are being caught at San  Luis Resevoir.

Delta fishing is heating up.  Good numbers of fun fish available to fly fishers. Most fish are being caught on 4 inch  green over white Clouser Minnows.  The fish are spreading over the entire Delta which means you can probably fish your favorite spots and get some action.  We have been having some big fish success at San Luis Lake.

The Delta  is fishing well with Stripers, Smallmouths and Largemouth on the bite.  Water temps are hovering between 68 and 70 degrees.   Fishing should only improve as we transition into fall.  Air temps are starting to cool and the wind is  starting  to stabilize.  Time to get out and have some fun.

Delta fishing continues to improve as more fish filter into the system. Water temps and air temps continue to drop which will improve conditions. Good numbers can be caught right now in most sections of the Delta. We are using fast sinking lines for the majority of the fishing to access fish in 7 to 15 foot range. Delta fishing has been hot this week .  We caught and released good numbers, good  average size Stripers, and some double digit size fish. Most fish have been caught on 4 inch clouser minnows.
