The Feather has been hit and miss. Some days are extremely good, and others have been slow. Salmon are still very thick in the Low Flow, which makes it a challenge to get through to the steelhead, but it can be done! We are taking fish on eggs, BWO’s and caddis. Flows for the Low Flow are at 900 cfs. The High Flow is at 1500 cfs.

Floated the Feather River a few times looking for steelhead this past weekend as well…crowded would be an understatement. Steelhead are showing up. The Low Flow is flowing at 900cfs and there is 600cfs coming out of the after bay for a high flow release of 1500cfs. I have not been over to the river but I know a few of the Sacramento guides are over there guiding so I am sure there is some fish around in the Low Flow but the high flow I am sure is still filled with salmon anglers....

Feather River– Most of the salmon guides I know have been over on the Feather leading me to believe there is some good numbers moving up river. The Flows remain at 1150 in the low flow, 600cfs coming out of the afterbay, 1750cfs total high flow. Good flows for moving fish up river.
