Hogan Brown, Hogan Brown Fly Fishing
Floated the Feather River a few times looking for steelhead this past weekend as well…crowded would be an understatement. I have never seen the river as crowded as I did this weekend…boats, salmon anglers, poachers, you name it and they are all there. We hooked a few nice fish but I will not be back for awhile. Salmon season closes today, Oct 15 and it will take a while for the salmon fishermen to clear out. Flows out to the low flow 900cfs, high flow1500cfs, @ Gridley 1339cfs.
