Stanislaus and Tuolumne Fishing Report.

Stanislaus RiverFeb 4, 20161 min read

Rick Mazaira Reports on 2.4.2016

Nothing like a day drifting, and the Stanislaus, it’s a special river. Great scenery, and a healthy diversity of fish from rainbows to stripers; and whether you like to nymph, or swing it is a fun time. Be mindful of time, the put ins and take outs close at sunset.

We are also joining with Doug Oulette to host a clinic at Pyramid Lake March 12th, it’s $150.00 full day and includes lunch. Please check out our website - www.yosemite-outfitters.com or http://www.pyramidlakeguideservice.com
Stanislaus- Drifting is best with midges & nymphs, or swing with soft hackles.
Lower   Tuolumne- slow fishing. Use mayfly nymphs, midges, and a   BWO dry.
Merced below El Portal to Bagby - water looks great but fishing is slow.
