Striper fishing in the Delta is good.  Numbers have dropped over the last couple of days but still, you can have a decent day with some good quality fish mixed in.  You can catch them deep, shallow and on the surface.  

Its a fun time of year when you have to catch them your favorite way.

Striper fishing on the Delta has been up
& down the last few days. Some days they are on a good bite, other days they just don’t seem to bite much. Also, we have had a windy week which has made it very challenging to target the fish, wind casting skills were at a premium but winds seem to be tapering down.

Delta Striper fishing remains strong.  Right now the conditions are perfect for topwater.  I gave it a try yesterday and had some nice action.I used a Rio Outbound Short floater with a good size Gurglar.  Also caught them with my T-14 and type 3 intermediate lines.

Striper fishing has been off and on this week.   The Delta is slowly clearing as the rains are diminishing. 

The spring run will probably extend as we are going to have a longer spring runoff of mountain snow.
