Rouge River Fly Fishing Report
Jim Andras Reports on 2.9.2017
More rain continues to keep the upper Rogue’s flows rising and unfishable. We’re seeing heavy rain in S. Oregon today so I expect the river to continue to rise at least throughout the day today. Looks like we’re in for a break starting Friday but it’s difficult to say if it will last long enough for conditions to improve before the next batch of storms hits next week.
Typically the best window for winter fish occurs between March and mid-April so there’s still plenty of time for great fishing if Mother Nature gives us a break soon.
