This year, The Rogue River has been a special river. When you steelhead, there is always an element of variability and unknown, and it’s that chase that keeps us coming back for more. Scarcity makes us fish harder, ones that got away keep us focused. This will be one we remember and look back on, and it will hold us over and through those tough days, and those down years. Because it hasn’t been scarce. And there are some big ones that have gotten away!
