Fall is by far my favorite time of the
year to be on the Deschutes. There are still plenty of trout still
willing to play, or you can fish for the ever elusive steelhead. When we
hit the river yesterday we weren’t sure if we wanted to fish for trout
or steelhead. So we decided to string up a nymph rod and see what would
bite.
We ended up landing several of really nice trout and one willie steelhead.
Seems like it was the right decision.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING
