We had another great salmon
fly hatch on the Deschutes. Now that they are gone so are the bulk of
the fisherman. But just because the salmon flies are gone doesn’t mean
the dry fly fishing is done on the Deschutes. Because of the hot weather
that has been hitting us for the past several days, our caddis hatches
have been going off like crazy. Fishing on the Deschutes continues right
on through the bulk of the summer.

Don’t forget our steelhead season starts in just over a month.
