This rod is in excellent shape. The blank is in pristine condition. The cork is very good as well, except for a small gouge on the bottom handle pictured below. This rod is rated at B+ because of these factors. This rod would be a great 9-foot 5-wt equivalent for someone looking to enter the steelhead game, or to deepen the quiver. The Z-Axis series was one of the best two-handed models ever built and remains popular still today. This rod does come with its original tube, and rod sock.
