What a difference a year makes! Last year, the Rogue got really big in December and stayed that way through April making for an extremely limited winter steelhead season. Yesterday I guided the river under clear skies, excellent water conditions and slid the net under great wild steelhead! The weather over the next 10 days looks to stay unseasonably warm and dry with highs hovering in the mid 50’s. I can’t wish for any better conditions this time of year and have the 9th-12th open to fish. Thank you, Jim Andras
