Not much has changed on the TroutFactory that is the Lower Sac. The fish have gotten a little quicker and the hatches have thinned out a bit but the fishing remains good to very good. It pays to have a perfect drift in the right spot, with a ninja quick hookset. There is a substantial difference in the success for those who do. The wind was a pain in the ass the past few days - makes mends and drifts a little tougher to achieve. The forecast is CLEAR for the foreseeable future.. that’s nice and all but it’d be good to get a few little wet systems to move through soon. More from the river HERE.
