Rain and snow
returned to the Rogue Valley this week, the tributaries came up and more
water was released from Lost Creek Dam all resulting in tough
conditions again on the upper river. The forecast calls for more
precipitation through the weekend and then drying out at least until
mid-week. All of this water should continue to pull up more winter
steelhead with the best of our season right around the corner in March
and April. Last Sunday I took my son on a float and he hooked his first
fish, a steelhead, losing it right at the boat! He ended up with 7 trout
and continues to remind me that he caught more fish than I did.
