Capt. Hogan Brown reports on 5.24.18
Lower Yuba River

Trout Fishing flows are stable around 2700. This is a GREAT flow to float the river but can be a tough flow to wade fish the river. I have heard from a few of my friends that have been guiding it that fishing for trout has been OK to good depending on the weather. The hatches this time of year are very weather dependent so the up and down spring weather we have been having can have an impact. That said I LOVE having a true spring. June should be a great month on the river and evening later afternoon hatches should be pretty darn good.
