The Lower Sacramento River remains a great summer option. There were a few days earlier this week where we had to work a bit harder for ‘em than usual but overall the river has been kicking out slugs on a daily basis. When you can take beginners out and have them each lose count of how many fish they land, you know you have a special river. Year ’round, you have to love this powerhouse of a trout fishery.
