Lower Sacremento River Fly Fishing Report - AC Fly Fishing

The Lower Sacramento River remains a great summer option. There were a few days earlier this week where we had to work a bit harder for ‘em than usual but overall the river has been kicking out slugs on a daily basis. When you can take beginners out and have them each lose count of how many fish they land, you know you have a special river. Year ’round, you have to love this powerhouse of a trout fishery.

Another great day on the river with fish on hoppers, droppers, streamers, and of course nymphs (after all it is the lower sac DL). This beauty came out of the “barge hole” and taped out at a hair over 21"
