Fishing on the Sacramento River remains very good. As we move into the warmer days of May you can expect to see a lot more Caddis hatching in the evenings. This is when you have the best shot at catching some big trout on dry flies. General trout season opens this Saturday so the Lower Sac will be seeing a lot less pressure soon. May can be one of the better months of the year on the Lower Sac. My next open days are: May 16-19
