AC Fly Fishing Reports on 5.5.2016
We lost count of the number of doubles we had before lunch yesterday. The past few days have spoiled some people.. Expect the river to continue to give us great fishing this month.
My next open days are May 17-19.
The River has fished very well over the past few weeks. A lot of my sports have been spoiled by the ridiculously good fishing. Usually, the drift has to be perfect and hook sets have to be quick to have success out here. Recently, the fish have been damn near hanging themselves, eating with reckless abandon. Expect the bite to stay consistent through the month of May. Everything has been on the menu recently.. Caddis, PMDs, Baetis, Yellow Sallies, Big Stones, Little Stones, Eggs.. Pick the right patterns in those flavors, put em in the right spot and you’ll have a hell of a good time out there.
