Great shad fishing on the Yuba right now! Just expected to see some shad today, and maybe pick off one or two. Did not expect to hook into a bunch. It’s pretty early for the shad bite on the Yuba. It usually doesn’t start until late May - early June, but it’s on! Got some nice females too, including this one. We even got a funny looking shad with stripes on the side of it :) Sorry for the lousy pics. We were camera and fish holding challenged today.
