In Search of the Perfect Cast

Our latest casting class “In Search of the Perfect Cast.” will be an informal casting session. As many of you know I am casting nerd. I am looking for those interested in meeting up every other week and working toward improving their casts. At 6:45 every other Wednesday we will meet at the Golden Gate Angling and Casting Club enjoy the long days in SF. In this class you will learn drills and techniques that will help you improve your casting and your fishing. The class is free, but I am asking for donations to help raise money for the GGACC Youth Program that we will be starting this summer.

Bring your favorite rod, and the beverage of your choice. There will be a brief demonstration session followed by casting practice and more tips.

We will have instruction for everyone from beginners to experts. 

This class is taught by George Revel. George Revel is a three-time National Fly Casting Champion, rod designer, FFF Master Certified Fly Casting Instructor, Past President of the venerable Golden Gate Angling and Casting Club in San Francisco, and Owner of Lost Coast Outfitters - The San Francisco Fly Shop.
