Delta
Largemouth and Smallmouth bass fishing is rated good to excellent.
Smallmouth fishing means good numbers of blowups and just great action. The largemouth fishing can be rewarding but takes more skill with fewer
bites. It’s really not a negative but the reality of the challenge.
The
Delta also provides action for crappie and bluegill. Smallmouth and
pan fish are a great choice for the new fly fishing angler. You can
catch them with short casts and you can hone the needed skills for fish
that are more difficult to catch.
