Lower Sacramento Fly Fishing Report

Lower Sac Striper Fishing remains good. The Weather has cooled down and the full moon has passed so fishing is stabilizing. We are still getting good numbers of 3-5lbs fish with 10+ and trophies in the mix. The daily bag has a been representative of a true pyramid with smaller younger fish making up the base and the trophy fish on the top. Fishing should remain good through October and even into November if the river holds. A few bass are starting to feed in the main channel as well which can be a cool by-catch when striper fishing.
