Lost Coast Outfitters reports on 3.2.17

Like we’ve seen all winter, when it finally looks like steelhead game-on, we’re due for another storm.
Above is a graph of the South Fork of the Eel at Leggett. If you can get up there tomorrow you’ll find high, but fishable-ish, water. After that, the incoming precipitation will knock the Eel and most of the coastal rivers out again.
The Smith and other sneaky creeks will be in shape through early Saturday so blow off work tomorrow and just drive!
Keep your eyes on the weather and flow graphs, we may get one more chance later in the month, before we bid farewell to steel for six months.
