"Cowen’s Bonefish Scampi was designed back in the mid 1990’s after coming back from a week of fishing at Rupert Leadon’s Andros Island Bonefish Club. Back in the day the Scampi was a revelation and still proves effective today.
Nick Vlahos of Sandbar Flies gave us this little gem for tropics fisheries. Lightly weighted for fishing shallows and flats, this pattern is sure to be a go-to for the flats angler. Tied on a Gamakatsu SL11.
