The Simms Headwaters BOA Wading Boots were a popular mid-range option in the Simms lineup, designed to provide a balance of durability and lightweight performance for anglers who did a lot of walking. These boots were constructed with a waterproof nubuck leather upper and featured a full scratch rubber rand to protect against abrasion from rocks and debris. The defining feature was the BOA Fit System, which used a stainless steel cable and a dial to allow for quick, one-handed adjustments and a secure fit that wouldn't loosen throughout the day. Underneath, they typically utilized a Vibram is a rubber outsole with internal plates designed to hold studs securely. While they were well-regarded for being lighter and more agile than the heavier G3 series, Simms eventually discontinued the Headwaters line to make room for newer technologies and specialized models like the Flyweight and updated Freestone series.

These boots are a bit dirty and worm but still have life in them, graded a B- in quality.
