These spools are in good shape. They show the wear and tear of years of fishing, but nothing damage wise that would force them to be retired. The marking is a bit abundant, so it was rated a C. We lines are still plenty usable, just not the most cosmetically appealing. It does have old backing, though we are unsure of the model. We are happy to replace it with new backing and flyline upon purchase.
