Used Sage XP 9' 6 Weight 4-piece

Sale price$ 400.00
Description

Sage XP 6wt 9' 4pc

This legendary rod series took the fly fishing world by storm when it was introduced in the early 2000's. Fast, accurate, smooth, powerful, versatile, responsive, crisp, sensitive--the superlatives are endless. Tight loops and high line speed are the hallmarks of this rod, the 6 weight being the perfect rod for Western dry/dropper or indicator nymphing. Makes a legit light streamer rod as well.

A legend in it's own era, it remains a cult favorite today, usually getting snatched up as soon as they hit the used market.

Made of Sage's Graphite IIIe, the XP is lighter than its predecessor, the SP, and comes in a seductive dark olive green color.

Condition is excellent and receives an A- simply for a bit of wear on the cork. The rod looks like it was only fished a handful of times, with no real wear and zero damage. Comes with original tube and rod sock. Tube is in excellent shape, just showing minor wear expected from its age.
