Used Thomas & Thomas VE 868S 8'6" 8-weight

Sale price$ 500.00
Description

Crafted by hand in the birthplace of the American Revolution, Thomas & Thomas rods exude fishiness. You can feel Paul Revere's presence when you pick up one of these heritage fly rods. Deep, colbalt blue blanks and premium hardware are standard.

The 8'6" 8-weight Vector is an excellent choice for bonefish, striper, coho, redfish, largemouth bass and more. This rod series was discontinued in the early 2000's after a solid run. With a smooth, forgiving and softer action, you'd expect from a rod of that era, the Vector is the right rod for the angler that wants power to deliver big flies at distance, but likes a deep flexing rod. If you are familiar with the Sage RPLXi, this rod is similar in action. This rod build is 3-pieces.

This rod is is grade A, new condition and never seen the water. Cork is clean, with factory plastic wrap. It comes with original rod sock and tube. Rod tube has light scuffing, but otherwise is excellent shape.
