Echo Surf Outfit
Description
Here at Lost Coast Outfitters, we set out to find an affordable 2 hand beach setup that delivers excellent casting and can stand up to the conditions of the California coast.
There are 3 options for this set up:
Perch - 7wt:
Designed specifically for targeting surf perch up and down our coastlines. This outfit features the 7wt 12'11" Echo Boost Beach Rod. The longer rod makes for easier casting and more line control. The rod will be paired with a Redington Behemoth Reel - 7/8wt. From there we will run some LCO Custom Running Line, our favorite running line for fishing in the surf. It will come with a Rio Outbound Short Sink 3 Shooting Head. It comes with 4 Surf Perch flies, and Maxima Ultragreen 20lb tippet to make sure you are ready to hit the water as soon as you walk out the door.
Crossover - 8wt:
Designed for chasing schoolies and surf perch up and down our coastlines this outfit is considered our most versatile. This outfit features the 8wt 12'2" Echo Boost Beach Rod. The longer rod makes for easier casting and more line control. The rod will be paired with a Redington Behemoth Reel - 7/8wt. From there we will run some LCO Custom Running Line, our favorite running line for fishing in the surf. It will come with the Rio Outbound Short Sink 3 Shooting Head for the season. It comes with 2 striper flies, 2 surf perch flies, and Maxima Ultragreen 20lb tippet to make sure you are ready to hit the water as soon as you walk out the door.
Striper - 9wt:
Designed specifically for chasing stripers up and down our coastlines. This outfit features the 9wt 12'2" Echo Boost Beach Rod. The longer rod makes for easier casting and more line control. The rod will be paired with a Redington Behemoth Reel - 9/10wt. From there we will run some of our custom in-house 50lb running line, our favorite for fishing in the surf. It will come with a Rio Outbound Short Sink 3 Shooting Head. It comes with 4 striper flies and Maxima Ultragreen 20lb tippet to make sure you are ready to hit the water as soon as you walk out the door.
