Striper Single Hand Complete Outfit *BASIC PLUS*

The Bay is often teeming with stripers and this rig will get you on the course with some upgrades to our bare-bones basic kit. First, we chose the Redington Predator Salt 8wt Fly Rod because of it excellent casting abilities and an incredible price. We similarly chose the Redington Behemoth Fly Reel - 7/8wt because of it's smooth drag, durable construction and great price point. For running line we chose our in-house custom 50lb running line, an absolutely epic choice for bombing shooting heads and large flies out into the bay. It is the most supple, durable and tangle free running line we have come across. Your shooting head like all of the LCO Striper Outfits is a Rio Outbound Short Intermediate Shooting Head. We include a spool of Maxima Ultragreen 20lb tippet and a 2 proven striper flies so you are ready to rock from the minute you get your outfit.
