The Bay is often teaming with stripers and this rig will get you on the course with the absolute bare minimum. First, we chose the Echo Lift 8wt Fly Rod because of it excellent casting abilities at an incredible price. We similarly chose the Redington Crosswater IV Fly Reel - 7/8wt because of its solid drag and great price point. For running line, we chose our our in-house custom 50lb running line. Your shooting head like all of the LCO Striper Outfits is a Rio Outbound Short Intermediate Shooting Head. We include a spool of Maxima Ultragreen 20lb tippet and 2 proven striper flies so you are ready to rock from the minute you get your outfit. Oh, and as your local fly shop we will give you some spots to go fish!
