Guided Surf Session : San Francisco
Join our LCO guides as they provide a private experience teaching you how to fish your local Bay Area waters. By combing the beaches with both single hand and two handed fly rods, you will be targeting striped bass, halibut and surf perch.
While walking the beaches, we cover topics such as gear selection, reading water currents, fly selection and the finer points of finding our target species throughout the year, both in the Bay and along the coast.
Each session is 4-5 hours long. All fishing gear is provided. As for clothing, flip flops and shorts are acceptable during the warmer months. If individuals want to wear waders/boots they must bring their own and a wading belt. Expect to get wet during surf outings, we must cover water in order to find fish!
Usual start time is between 6am - 7am, timing varies with the season and tides.
Price of the guided surf session includes equipment for 1-2 anglers.
Dates are preferred tidal positions.
