The Burkheimer 7125-3 is a bread and butter Nor Cal winter steelhead rod. Excellent choice for everything winter PNW and some BC rivers as well. Alaska? You bet. Tierra Del Fuego? Absolutely!

The Vintage build on this model is exquisite, using carefully chosen components for maximum performance and aesthetic.

This stick likes a Skagit head between 500-525 grains, like the Rio Elite Skagit Max Power 525 grain

If you are fishing more on the surface you should line this rod up with a Scandi head. We like the Rio Elite Scandi Launch 440 grain.
