Steve Adachi Clouser - Surf Brown

The Steve Adachi Surf Clouser is hands down our favorite striper fly. The amount of time he puts into every fly shows. Putting 30-minute epoxy makes the fly extremely durable to the point you can catch up to 100 stripers with the same fly. We know this because Trout Unlimited's own Tim Frahm has done it! The jig hook makes the fly move much more than a regular Clouser, which helps attract striped bass in lower visibility water like the Delta or Chesapeake Bay. Time and time again, this fly has produced fish. It is a proven pattern that every serious striper angler must have before heading into the season.
