Yosemite Fly Fishing Report

YosemiteApr 30, 20151 min read
Rick Mazaira, Yosemite Outfitters

Opening day was a great day and with a small snow storm to give us some much needed water, the short term outlook is really good!
Look for tributaries that have good early season flows, like Rock Creek in the Sierra National Forest, it is fishing well with Caddis dries fish are small and plentiful.Rivers systems north of Yosemite are doing well too. The hwy 120 corridor is doing well, as are the108 and Hwy 4 corridor are doing well at lower elevations.
