Upper Sac
Spring fishing in the North State is firing on all cylinders right now. The weather is beautiful, the bugs are hatching and the fish are chowing.

The Upper Sac has had some good windows of fishing throughout the day. From Dunsmuir down to Gibson area, there have been a lot of different bugs around in the mix. Goldens are moving about, Salmonflies, Sallies, Caddis and various mayflies have all been on the menu. It’s a great time of year to cover a lot of water here with a dry/dropper rig. If you can move swiftly down the river and cover all the spots properly, you’ll have a very productive day.
