Bucko Theriot reports on 9/17/2015

The temps are dropping, leaves are falling, fish are rising, and the colors of fall are here on the upper sac. The north state just received some desperately needed rain. Even mount Shasta got a dust of snow. The past couple of days have been wet and cold and you know what that means, Blue winged Olive time! We found a nice run with a lot of rising fish, so be sure to not leave home without a couple dry flies. The nymph fishing is outstanding right now. I have been serving rubber legs in various colors and the fish seem to be loving it, but don’t forget about the small stuff: hogans s&m (brown or olive), micro mays, pheasant tails (beaded or non beaded), Gordon prince, dirty bird, and dark lords should get the job done. Fall time is some of the best fishing this river has to offer, so be sure to get up here!
My open days this month: 21-23 & 28-30th
