Lost Coast Outfitters reports on 1.23.17

It looks like we will get a dry-ish break from the storm cycle this week and into next. Keep you eyes on the Trinity, as it’s often the first to come back into shape. The river is already on the drop and the weather is expected to stay cold this week, which means, no snow meltage to blow the river back out.
The way upper, in Lewiston, is fishable currently. Douglas City will be next, and then on down. The North and South Forks are both currently dropping as well. For those that like to fish lower down, the North Fork affects the canyon flows and the South Fork (and New River) influence the water near Willow Creek and Hoopa.
Lets hope the current trends continue.
