Sacramento River Fly Fishing Report

Lower Sacramento RiverMay 19, 20161 min read

Aaron Grabiel - The Northern California Guide Reports

The Upper Sacramento River is fishing very well on foot or from the raft. We are offering both trips!  On foot we will focus on the upper stretches of the river and from the raft we will be on the lower regions of the river above the lake. We are very excited to announce that we are now operating on the Shasta-Trinity-Lassen National Forest Service Permit on a Non-Discriminatory basis.  Contact me and ask about these new options!

The Lower Sacramento River is fishing very well also.  Plan to use PMD patterns and some caddis in the early mornings. Rubber legs will get a few fish as well.  Focus on the moderate to faster water on the edges and drop offs.

I have openings on May 30-31 and June 1-8, 13-17.
Please feel free to call, email or text!
